DESCRIPTION:SA’s GREATEST GRAVEL RACE  on 01 August 2025 at Swellendam\n\n\n\n\n2025 ENTRIES ARE OPEN!\nThe B-well Around the Pot Gravel Race is one of the best gravel events in the Country.  There is a 25 miler\, a 60 miler\, a hundred miler and the ultra riders a 200 miler.   The first riders set off on Friday evening to conquer a gruelling 24 hours of gravel riding in the 200 miler (321km) route. Following the next morning\, riders will depart from Swellendam and will experience 100 miles (160km) of gravel road\, racing towards the Potberg mountain. They will then reach Ouplaas to enter into a 30min neutral zone before riding the last 60km back towards Swellendam where the Gravel KING and QUEEN will be crowned each year. \nThere will be a shorter 60 miler (98km) ride which will also reach Ouplaas at 45km\, as well as a 25 miler (45km) fun ride through farmlands and gravel roads \nRiders will experience a superbly well-organized event with some great goodie bags\, well-stocked water points\, and spectacular on-route scenery. \n60/100/200 Miler riders will receive a roosterkoek at Ouplaas and everyone a finisher hamburger with all food prepared by Swellendam High & Primary Schools. The start and finish venue for this event will be the Swellendam Showgrounds.Safe parking\, security\, chill zones\, and showers at the finish will add to a great rider experience for all. \nATP’s main focus is ensuring that you\, the riders have a fantastic time. We love a good vibe and to see you all enjoying yourselves. SUMMARY:Cape Town Cycle Tour 2025
DESCRIPTION:It is now one of the world’s leading cycle events\, but when Bill Mylrea\, John Stegmann and Louis de Waal first proposed the Argus Tour\, it was meant to be a protest ride to ‘encourage’ the city council to think about bicycles as part of its urban planning\, and look after cyclists on the (by 1978 standards) busy roads. \nAs such\, the event failed spectacularly for decades\, but what a wonderful deviation from those goals it has become as the biggest timed bike race in the world. \nThe irony is that cycling has become so big in South Africa\, thanks to the Cape Town Cycle Tour\, that those dreamy objectives are now being realised across the city in the form of bike lanes\, and cycle safety projects within and beyond the city limits.

DESCRIPTION:The race with GEES! \nThe FNB Wines2Whales was born out of the desire to create a world-class 3-day stage race in the Western Cape of South Africa.\n\nSince inception in 2009\, the three events\, aptly named after the wines of the area\, have become a must-do event on the mountain bike calendar with riders from the farthest reaches of the country and the world. \nIts biggest drawcard is undoubtedly the route\, which has been perfected over the past decade (plus a few!). The Lions Karoo to Coast MTB Challenge is a Third Party Event advertised by the PPA. \nThe Lions Karoo to Coast Mountain Bike Challenge is a 100km off road race from UNIONDALE to KNYSNA via the Prince Alfred’s Pass. The route is scenic\, challenging and riders are encouraged to train sufficiently for this event in order to maximise the enjoyment of the experience. \nEntry Cost is R780 including dinner in Uniondale. All proceeds go to the Lions of Knysna and Uniondale. Only 4500 entries will be available for the 2024 event.
